In plain terms: if you ever need to move cloud, or run on two at once, your application does not get rewritten. Our R&D wing built the layer that makes that true, and it runs our own platform today. How it works: the application is written against capability contracts (runtime, store, blob, bus, vault, identity, telemetry), never against a vendor SDK. Below that line sits a cloud-agnostic layer our R&D wing built: one adapter set per provider, policy and guardrails at the boundary, and infrastructure modules for network, identity, data and runtime. The host is declared, not coded: region, size, data class and residency are configuration, so the same artefact goes to a different cloud through the same pipeline.

The target cloud, region and instance profile are values in an environment declaration, not decisions embedded in code.

Which cloud computing providers operate in Ireland, and are you one of them?▼
The three cloud computing providers most Irish businesses choose between are Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. AWS and Azure each run a region in Ireland; Google Cloud serves Ireland from its European regions. Aitina Tech is not a provider. We are an independent cloud consulting and engineering company: we help you choose between the providers, design and build the environment, migrate what is worth migrating and keep the result secure and affordable. We earn nothing from which provider you pick, and you hold the accounts and own everything in them.
Do you provide cloud services in Dublin, Meath and the rest of Ireland?▼
Yes. We are based at Maynooth Business Campus in Co. Kildare, on the Meath border and within an hour of Dublin, and we work with businesses across the country. Most cloud work is delivered remotely; workshops, migrations and cutovers are done on site when that is the better way to do them.
Do you offer IT infrastructure services as well as cloud?▼
Yes. Very few businesses are entirely in the cloud, so we design the estate as a whole: identity, networking, storage and the servers that still earn their place, alongside the cloud services that replace the rest. The aim is one coherent, documented infrastructure rather than two that do not talk to each other.
Which cloud should we choose?▼
The one your licensing, your team and your workload already point at, in that order. Organisations living in Microsoft 365 usually have a cheaper and easier path on Azure; teams with data and Kubernetes at the centre often do well on Google Cloud; AWS has the broadest service catalogue and is where our own platform runs. We will give you an honest comparison for your case, and we do not earn anything from the answer.
Can you work with our existing cloud provider, reseller or managed service partner?▼
Yes, routinely. Billing and licensing arrangements are usually best left where they are; we work on the architecture and the engineering. Where a partner's recommendation and ours differ, we will say so plainly and show the reasoning.
Can you reduce our cloud bill without changing the architecture?▼
Usually some of it: right-sizing, storage tiering, commitment plans and idle resources tend to be worth a meaningful percentage on their own. The larger savings generally need an architectural change, and we will be clear about which is which so you can decide what is worth doing.
Do you handle security and compliance, including ISO 27001?▼
Security is designed into the environment rather than added afterwards: identity, network segmentation, encryption, logging and audit trails. For organisations working towards ISO 27001 or facing client audits, we also run a readiness review so the environment and the evidence line up before the auditor arrives.
Will our own engineers be able to run it after you leave?▼
That is the point. We work in your repositories, in review with your team, and the handover includes runbooks, diagrams that match reality and the reasoning behind the decisions. If a design can only be maintained by us, it is the wrong design.
